The View from the Terrace:

The apartment, or gite, forms the upper floor of the house and is entirely separate from the rest of the house.  It is entered up outdoor steps and across its private terrace at the rear. Immediately behind the terrace wild thyme can be gathered.

Our house was built around 25 years ago on the site of an old vinyard mixed with fruit trees.  The front garden produces abundant cherries, apricots, mulberries and figs and although not part of the apartment facilities, guests are welcome to gather fresh fruits in season during their stay.   The garden behind is left as wild garrigue hillside where glowworms can be seen in the spring or early summer.
